Nissan has unveiled a new concept based on the Murano named the EA2 and is equipped by the innovative X-by-Wire technology. This technology removes the mechanical linkage between driver and vehicle such as the brakes and steering; replacing it with electrical impulses. With this technology, designers have greater flexibility since mechanical systems can be removed. Benefits include a greater space for seating, also the increased economy and emissions because of its reduced weight advantages. The reliability of this system needs to be tested further to ensure the safety of the driver and its occupants.
